High Holy Days Info – 2014/5775

High Holy Days 2014

This is a special time of year. It is a time for celebration and introspection and re-calibration of our internal moral compasses. It is a time for community and also for being alone. We have created a full schedule of High Holy Days worship. This year, we are pleased to invite families with young children to once again participate in a Family High Holy Day Experience with Meidan Keidar, on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings at 9:00 AM. This program is for children pre-school through elementary school.

We believe that worship should be available to all who want to participate, and we are not requiring tickets for attendance at our worship services (although donations are always appreciated).

Come join us – you are certainly welcome!

Food Drive

We will be collecting non-perishable food for donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley, for distribution to people in need through area non-profits. They can also accept non-food, personal care items such as shampoo and toothpaste. High protein foods are especially requested by the Food Bank.

Also, consider a financial gift to Second Harvest Food Bank. For every $1 you contribute, they are able to distribute 9 pounds of food. This is equivalent to 7 meals for people that may not otherwise be able to afford them!
